You can publish forms on your Joomla website using the 123FormBuilder extension for Joomla. First, download<\/a> the extension. Unzip the archive \u2013 you’ll find in it three folders: Joomla 1.5<\/b>, Joomla 2.5,<\/b> and Joomla 3.1<\/b>. You need only the one corresponding to the Joomla version that you are using. The folder Joomla 1.5<\/b> contains two plugins, plg_123formbuilder<\/em><\/b> and plg_123formbuilder_btn<\/em><\/b>. Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.1 contain one package that has two plugins: Button \u2013 123FormBuilder<\/b> and Content \u2013 123FormBuilder<\/b>. The plugins are automatically installed with the package, but you’ll need to manually activate the plugins one by one, as explained further down.<\/p>\n

Go to your Joomla Administration panel. Click on the tab Extensions<\/b> in the horizontal menu on top of the page and choose the first option \u2013 Extensions Manager<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You’ll be taken to the Install<\/b> panel. In the first section, Upload Package File<\/b>, click the Browse<\/b> button, select the package (or the two plugins for Joomla 1.5), then click Upload & Install<\/b>.<\/div>\n

Note<\/u>: To completely add the 123FormBuilder extension for Joomla 1.5, you’ll need to install each of the two packages separately in the Extension Manager (Button<\/b> and Content<\/b>).
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Go to Extensions<\/b> \u2192 Plug-in Manager<\/b> and type 123<\/b> in the Filter<\/b> box. Two entries will remain in the list: Button \u2013 123FormBuilder<\/b> and Content \u2013 123FormBuilder<\/b>. Both of them need activation. Simply click on the two icons in the Status<\/b> column to activate them. Only after that, you can publish your web forms on Joomla.<\/div>\n

Click on Button \u2013 123FormBuilder<\/b> to access the extension settings. On the right side of the screen, in the 123FormBuilder box, you need to provide your 123FormBuilder API Key. To get it, go to your 123FormBuilder account \u2192 My Account<\/b> section. If the API Key is not yet enabled, press Create now<\/b>. Copy the API Key and paste it in the API Key<\/b> box in your Joomla administration interface. Click Connect<\/b>.<\/div>\n

The extension is now up and running. There are two ways of getting forms to Joomla:<\/p>\n

1. While you’re editing a Joomla article, click on the icon Insert Form<\/b> that shows up in your menu. Make sure you are logged in to your 123FormBuilder account. Select the form that you want to publish and click Embed<\/b>. If you want to create a new form, press add new form<\/b> and you’ll be redirected to your 123FormBuilder account.<\/p>\n

2. Go to the Publish<\/b> \u2192 Platforms<\/b> section of the form in your 123FormBuilder account, click on the Joomla<\/b> tab on the left side of the page, copy the code you find there and paste it in your Joomla article.<\/p>\n
